“Unfriend” is Oxford Dictionary’s Word of the Year

Wow facebook got a word in the dictionary haha.
I like defriend a lot more than unfriend. I actually have never heard someone say unfriend him/her. They need to switch it but it is pretty funny that this is going to be the word for 2009.

UNFRIEND
“To remove someone as a ‘friend’ on a social networking site such as Facebook.”
